"Pop the FPOP bubble! Join a Frosh Pre-Orientation Program"
WHAT IS AN FPOP?
A Freshman Pre-Orientation Program, also known as an FPOP,
is a fantastic way to kick off your career at MIT and to meet a new group
of friends!
This August, twenty-two FPOPs will be offered - each focused
on a different academic area or leadership, social, athletic or service-related activity. That means that before
Orientation even starts, you can do something amazing! You can build an
underwater vehicle, sail in the Atlantic Ocean, play robotic soccer, visit a
nuclear reactor, swing through a ropes course, or travel to Colorado and New
Mexico.
IMPORTANT FPOP INFO:
The DEADLINE to apply for an FPOP is JUNE 11.
These programs ARE NOT first come, first serve, so take your
time on the application!
For more an application or more info on each program's activities, arrival dates
and costs visit the FPOP page: http://mit.edu/firstyear/2014/orientation/fpops/index.html
