"FPOP Update- Check your MIT email!"
Hello 2015-ers!
By now everyone who has applied for an FPOP should have heard back from us with either their FPOP assignment or an email requesting more information to better place you. If you are reading this and thinking..."Hey, I haven't heard anything yet!"...don't panic!
Instead, check your MIT email. It is important to get in the habit of checking your MIT email address consistently, not only for FPOP updates but for other important information. When possible we sent FPOP assignments to both your summer and MIT email addresses. If you provided a summer email address the email could be lost in a spam filter. The moral of the story is, always check your MIT email.
If you applied for an FPOP and have not heard from us (after checking your MIT email), feel free to email us at orientation-www@mit.edu or you can email me directly at lmaxim@mit.edu.
For those of you reading this who wanted to participate in an FPOP but missed the application deadline, good news! We still have a few spaces left in some of the programs. Keep in mind that at this point any available spots are first come first serve and decisions will be made on a day to day basis. You will still need to complete an application and answer the specific program questions for the FPOPs that you are interested in. For more information on the programs that have spots available, email me directly at lmaxim@mit.edu.
One more note on FPOPs: The due date for confirmation forms and all other requested materials (including payment, liability and medical forms when applicable) is July 6th.
The weeks are flying by and we are looking forward to welcoming you to campus!
Oh yeah, one more thing...check your MIT email!
