Orientation Coordinator

Hey everyone! I’m a rising sophomore majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (“2A with 6” in MIT jargon). I was a member of the MIT Swimming and Diving team that won MIT’s first NEWMAC conference championship since 2003. In addition, I’m a brother in the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and am also active in various other student groups and activities on campus.

Originally from the Boston area, I can tell you first hand that though the weather doesn’t seem ideal, Boston sees its share of nice days (especially when MIT turns on the weather machine for special events). I love going to school in Boston because there are so many other college students around to meet and so many awesome things to do in the city. Just this past week, I saw the Boston Marathon and watched the Red Sox sweep the Yankees.

My Orientation last fall was one of the best times I’ve ever had at MIT, and I’m looking forward to planning an exciting Orientation for you! This year, Sammi, Kyle and I, the three Orientation Coordinators, have many ideas in mind (and tricks up our sleeves) to make Orientation a week that’ll blow your minds. Get pumped and get ready to be introduced to your home for the next 4 years!
